4.2 When a Dialog Ends

BDC_Patrick edited this page Oct 7, 2025 · 4 revisions

Whenever a Dialog reaches an End-Node, that has no Continue enabled, the current Dialog fires its finish Events.

Finishing a Dialog will call the Dispatchers for OnDialogFinished on all Participant Components used in this Dialog, the Manager Component, and OnDialogFinishedGlobal of the Subsystem itself.
It also triggers the OnDialogFinished Interface Event for the used Widget.

The Events can be used to clean up Cameras, Poses, Animations, Inputs... and so on.

Finishing a Dialog also removes the Widget from the GameClientViewport.
