Notebook and Categories
Use the Explorer's Notebook in the air to open its custom two-page interface. Using it directly on a verified marker's Lodestone opens site registration instead. Using it on an Explorer's Archive Bookshelf opens archive printing when that feature is allowed.
- The first spread uses the left page for Notebook information.
- The right page can display up to two records.
- Later spreads display up to two records on each page.
- Folded-corner arrows turn spreads.
- The small gear opens personal Notebook settings.
The book uses dark, parchment-readable text colors. Records remain compact so a player can scan names and coordinates quickly.
- Category icon and category color
- Site name

When the world owner allows Custom Categories, every player receives five configurable slots.
For each slot, the player can:
- Enter a category name of up to 24 characters.
- Choose a readable color.
- Enable or disable the category.
Enabled Custom Categories appear in the registration category list. They use the shared custom wind-charge-style icon rendered in the selected category color.
- Site name: 36 characters
- Field note: 180 characters
- Custom Category name: 24 characters
- Printed archive volume: up to 49 entries
- Living custom Notebook: no 49-entry cap
Use the Notebook on the same marker Lodestone again. The form opens with the existing values and saves changes back to the original record rather than creating another site.
The physical Notebook is a reader and interaction tool. The master data is stored in the world. If the item is destroyed, craft another Notebook and use it in the same world with the same player identity to reopen the complete log.
