Troubleshooting
- Confirm that both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack imported.
- Confirm both packs are active on the world.
- Move Andy's Explorer's Notebook RP above conflicting interface or texture packs.
- Remove obsolete duplicate versions from Minecraft storage.
- Completely leave and reopen the world.
The pack-menu artwork and the in-game item use separate assets. The menu should show the square project artwork; the held and inventory item should show the leather book with a compass.
Check every position:
- Bottom: Stone Bricks
- Middle: Lodestone
- Top: Chiseled Stone Bricks
- Normal wall sign attached to a horizontal side of the top block
A standing sign or Hanging Sign does not count. After correcting the structure, break and replace one required piece to trigger another validation check.
Open the active Behavior Pack's settings gear and confirm the relevant feedback options are enabled. Also verify the player's sound volume.
The sound uses Minecraft's randomized Amethyst Bud break event. The exact sample can vary between validations.
Aim directly at the middle Lodestone and confirm the marker has validated. Completely leave and reopen the world after an update. Remove old duplicate pack versions and check Minecraft's Content Log if the problem remains.
The site name cannot be blank. Enter a name of up to 36 characters and submit the form again.
One of the registered marker's four required pieces was broken. Restore the exact structure. The entry and its notes are still present.
Confirm all of the following:
- The same player account is using it.
- The player is in the same world where the records were made.
- The Behavior Pack is active.
- The world was not replaced with an older backup made before the entries existed.
Notebook data is per player and per world. It does not automatically follow an item into a different world.
All existing entries have already been archived. Record a new Survey Marker and return. The next print includes only the newly recorded entries.
- Confirm archive printing is enabled through the Behavior Pack gear.
- Use the Notebook on the custom Explorer's Archive Bookshelf, not a regular Chiseled Bookshelf.
- Bring at least one Book & Quill per required volume.
The shelf has six positions. Use an empty hand to remove the most recently inserted book, add another custom shelf, or store signed volumes in regular Chiseled Bookshelves.
Completely leave and reopen the world, reproduce the issue once, then save the Content Log. Include the Minecraft version, add-on version, platform, exact interaction performed, and the relevant Explorer's Notebook error text when reporting a problem.
