Settings

The add-on has two settings levels: world-wide Behavior Pack controls and personal Notebook controls.

Behavior Pack Settings Gear

The world owner can edit these options from the active Behavior Pack's gear/settings button. Every option begins enabled.

Setting Effect
Allow Waystone Present notation Allows players to display and record the optional Waystone field
Allow player Custom Categories Allows the five personal Custom Category slots
Allow signed archive volume printing Allows Notebook-on-shelf printing
Show validation and repair chat messages Controls validation, repair, and Needs Repair messages
Play amethyst validation sound Controls validation and repair sound feedback

Changing a world setting does not erase Notebook entries, Custom Category definitions, Waystone values, or existing archive volumes.

Personal Notebook Gear

Open the Notebook and select the small gear.

Waystone Present Field

When Waystone notation is allowed for the world, each player may show or hide the field on the site registration form. Existing saved Waystone values remain stored when the field is hidden.

Custom Categories

When Custom Categories are allowed for the world, each player may configure five slots:

  • Name, up to 24 characters
  • Readable text color
  • Enabled or disabled

Only enabled categories appear while recording a site.

World Settings Override Personal Availability

If the world owner disables a feature, the Notebook identifies that control as world-disabled. Personal saved preferences remain available if the world feature is enabled again later.

No Commands Required

Settings use the Behavior Pack gear and the Notebook interface. No custom command or operator permission is needed for ordinary personal settings.
