Welcome to the Farbound Wiki

Build your vessel. Chart the world. And always leave a light on at home.

Farbound is a Minecraft modpack for 1.21.1 (NeoForge) built around Create and Create: Aeronautics. Design airships, steamships, submarines, and land vehicles, then take them out into a world that rewards the curious. Between expeditions, build a home worth returning to: a workshop full of gears, a warm kitchen, a campfire under the stars.

🚧 Farbound is in active development. Content, mods, and configs may change on the way to a stable release.

What Makes Farbound Different

Most Create packs live on the ground: conveyor belts, factories, automation. Farbound turns the focus toward movement, exploration, and home. Your vehicle is workshop, base, and transport in one. The world is generated with vast continents, striking structures, and living oceans, and the quest book accompanies your whole journey without ever forcing your hand.

Design Pillars

  1. The vehicle is the hero. Every feature earns its place by making building, steering, or using a vessel more interesting.
  2. Exploration is rewarded, never forced. You set out because something waits over the horizon, not because a quest demands it.
  3. Cozy is not a contradiction. Cooking, furniture, music, and photography are the moments that make a pack memorable.
  4. Progression is earned, not grindy. From your first wobbly balloon to a real airship, step by step.
  5. It has to run well. Performance and stability are a feature, not an afterthought.
