Overview

The csps-export software is used to convert data from processed CSPS structure in desired format. For now, the software is able to generates a JSON file that contains geopositions and timestamps assciated with each camera record.

Usage

The csps-export software expects the following arguments and parameters. Starting with the stream arguments and parameters :

--path -p

Path to the CSPS-processed structure (directory).

--export -e

Path to the exportation file.

The CSPS tags specification are performed through the following arguments and parameters :

--cam-tag -c, --cam-mod -m

CSPS-tag of the camera device and CSPS-module to consider for query
on CSPS, respectively.

--gps-tag -g, --gps-mod -n

CSPS-tag of the GPS device and CSPS-module to consider for query on
CSPS, respectively.

Finally, the manual positioning specification can be done using the following arguments and parameters :

--longitude -l, --latitude -t, --altitude -a

Geoposition to use as default in case camera capture was made without
GPS signal.

Demonstration

Considering a CSPS-processed structure obtained using an eyesis4pi camera device in Geneva, the following JSON output is obtained :

{
"gps":true,
"split":false,
"preview":null,
"pose":[
{
"guess":true,
"status":"unknown",
"folder":null,
"lng":6.13906021,
"lat":46.22288635,
"alt":401.19440185,
"sec":1393342299,
"usc":565618
},
...
{
"guess":false,
"status":"unknown",
"folder":null,
"lng":6.13210910,
"lat":46.22561099,
"alt":423.40014677,
"sec":1393342763,
"usc":242277
}
]
}

The different fields, including earth positioning, are related to FOXEL specific data storage and processing architecture.

Compilation

The software binary can be build using its specific makefile by simply typing in its base directory :

$ make clean && make build [OPENMP=false]

The binary is placed in the local bin directory and is not copied in the csps-suite main bin directory. To generate the documentation, use the command :

$ make clean-documentation && make documentation

To install or uninstall the binaries on the local computer, use the commands :

# make install
# make uninstall
