Minutes

irc log

  1. Work for sprint 2 focuses on the main ticket #132, as well as carry-over tickets #127 and #128. Lastly is the index triplestore from Drupal (#100) based on work Danny did supported by discoveryGarden and University of Manitoba.
  • New PR from Diego to restructure Resource Service to use ServiceProviders and CollectionProviders - https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/pull/135

  • Able to mount routes from Resource service in Collection service without having to have a Resource service running. DiegoPino found it slightly slower during run-time, but might have be his computer bogging down.

  • Is it bootstrapping the full app on first request?

  • Twig and YAML config can be configured prior to calling the ResourceService.

  • Middleware had to be made into protected functions and added to each route.

  • Wants to keep the old ResourceService to have an example of a small service.

  • How do we share these libraries without the config and index.php? To be researched, probable need to separate the libraries and "app" into two packages. For now, leave it as it is. Possible option is separate distributions.

  • Allowing different input types of full RDF, JSON-LD, or just certain parameters. Parse the input and check for UUID, if it doesn't exist add it.

  • Continue using Twig for templating to create our SPARQL queries.

  • Release of Fedora 4.5.1 - Nick, Esme Cowles, and Andrew Woods are performing release manager duties, just waiting on some last minute updates from Esme Cowles.

  • This is the first release without all the components and instead relies on the Component Compatibility Matrix for all non-released components.

  1. Cleaning out and confirming, squashing commits. Should have something to test shortly.

  2. Fedora is looking for use cases around Transactions.

  1. Fedora 4 IG calls, should we have them? Should we push them to the Fedora Tech Call?
  • The CLAW call covers the Islandora to Fedora 4 development.
  • We no longer need the Fedora 4 IG calls.
  1. Drupal 8 still waiting on us to finish the prospectus.
