Allow 1Password
The 1Password extension connects to the 1Password app in Dia again. Without it, a patched Dia gets stuck on "waiting for potential partner browser authorization".
It's off by default, since it keeps the original Dia running in the background. Open Dia → Settings → Patches and switch on Allow 1Password. Or run:
diatweaks enable onePasswordThen unlock the 1Password app. The extension picks it up within a minute.
Why is there a second Dia running?
1Password only talks to browsers whose signature it knows, and a patched Dia is signed on your Mac. So DiaTweaks keeps a copy of the original Dia in a hidden /Applications/.DiaTweaks folder, runs it without windows while the extension is connected, and passes the extension's messages through it. It's the same copy that Allow iCloud Passwords uses, and it quits 10 minutes after an extension last used it, or when Dia quits. Uninstalling DiaTweaks deletes the folder.
Does it work with tabs at the top?
Yes. It doesn't change anything you see in Dia.
