The Stutter Section

In the last three messages (East 4, West 4, East 5), primarily in East 4 and East 5, in the shared section near the beginning of these messages, there are a few short desyncs of a few characters. We call this the stutter section.
Single-character desyncs can be caused by letter swap typos in some ciphers. Also, in some ciphers, particularly group autokey (GAK), these kinds of short desyncs can be caused naturally from identical plaintext, even without typos, if the first letter of the messages differ, as they do in the eyes.
This feature has been demonstrated to be possible to reproduce with deck ciphers.
