Trigrams

The commonly accepted way to read the eye messages is with triplets of eyes in a triangle formation, alternating up and down. The reason for this conclusion was because the ends of the messages always have two lines of close to the same length but off by one either above or below. Also all eyes are staggered in a triangular grid. And the total number of eyes in each message is always divisible by 3. And if you read the eye directions as base 5 values, making each trigram into three base-5 digits, with a particular reading order, the values of these digits fall within a range of 0-82 with no gaps.
