Two programs. Lyra is the radio. Lyra Remote is the page on the computer in front of you.
Download Lyra from the Lyra releases. Download this page from the Lyra Remote releases.
The page is always opened on the computer where you are sitting. You do not browse to the radio computer to get the page.
| What | Address |
|---|---|
| The page, on the computer where you are sitting | http://127.0.0.1:4173/ |
| Lyra, in the box at the top of the page |
ws:// plus the Lyra computer's address, then :40001
|
- In Lyra, open Settings → Network. Turn TCI server running on. Leave Bind address at
127.0.0.1and Port at40001. - Double-click Open Lyra Remote.cmd. Leave the small server window running.
- Leave the address box at
ws://127.0.0.1:40001and press Connect.
- Copy the unzipped folder to that computer and double-click Open Lyra Remote.cmd there.
- On the Lyra computer, run
ipconfig. Use the IPv4 address on the house network, the one that looks like192.168.1.50. - On that Lyra computer, set Bind address to
0.0.0.0and leave TCI server running on.127.0.0.1accepts only the computer Lyra is running on. - Allow Lyra through the Windows firewall for private networks, inbound TCP on port 40001.
- On the page, set the box to
ws://192.168.1.50:40001, using the address from step 2, and press Connect.
The browser remembers the last address on that computer. Each station does this on its own network, against its own Lyra.
Keep the port on the house network. Do not forward it to the internet.
Opening index.html as a file can still listen. It cannot prove the password or open a microphone. Use Open Lyra Remote.
Lyra Remote is a separate package. The radio is Lyra.
