Home twice – recently played games, each with a picture of where you left off, in the shape of its console · A – resume exactly there · Y – start fresh · X – remove from the list · Home short – save and back to ES · Hold Home (0.8 s) – in a game, straight to the previous game

Works with RetroArch, DraStic, DSperate and PortMaster. Switching takes about 5 seconds. Why: every game is started through EmulationStation as usual – the emulator starts fresh each time and then loads your last state. That is the most reliable way for all emulators; faster would only be possible with tricks that are less stable. During the switch a loading screen covers both screens and the sound stays muted until you're back in the game.
