  • https://www.builditsolar.com/index.htm: Build it solar, a decent site for making your own solar power stuff. Free plans and information on: Conservation, water, solar homes, solar space heating, solar water heating, passive cooling techniques, solar sunspaces and greenhouses, solar pool heating, solar electricity (PV), wind generated electricity, micro hydro, biofuels, methane generators, solar cooking, solar food drying, solar and efficient vehicles, solar water pumping, solar engines, and solar wood drying.

  • https://www.electroschematics.com/category/solar-projects/ Electronic schematics for solar power projects. Schematics are diagrams that show how the wires and parts of an electrical circuit are connected. The site has other categories for power supply and other electronics as well.

Informational Resources

  • Government information on energy affordability, including info on tax credits https://www.energy.gov/eere/energy-accessibility-and-affordability

  • Affordable Clean Energy Rule: On June 19, 2019, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued the final Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule to enforce the rule of law, empower states, and support energy diversity. The ACE rule establishes emission standards in line with Goal 7 of the UN SDGs. As per the ACE rule, all states can create plans to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) at their coal-fired electricity-generating facilities.
