Open it with Familiar in the builder's header, or Familiar on a familiar actor's sheet header.
- Master — the character whose familiar you're building. Create familiar actor makes one if there isn't one yet (players need permission to create actors; otherwise ask the GM to create it with the character as master).
- Abilities n / total — how many familiar and master abilities the familiar has per day, as PF2e calculates it from class features and feats (Familiar, Enhanced Familiar, a witch's familiar …).
- Tabs:
- Familiar abilities — what the familiar itself gains.
- Master abilities — what you gain; they count toward the same total.
- Specific / patron — abilities only certain familiars (object, undead, shikigami …) or witch patrons have. Patron abilities come with the patron automatically; for specific familiars, have the GM confirm yours qualifies.
- ✔ / ✖ / ? show prerequisites (level, spell slots, focus pool, trained skills, feats, other abilities). Only eligible hides the rest.
- Click an ability to read it; Add to familiar (or double-click) adds it. If its requirements aren't met you can still Add anyway. Open item sheet shows the original item.
