Game Settings → Configure Settings → Rutz's PF2e Character Builder. All are world settings.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Characters per player | 1 | How many characters a player may create (0 = no limit). Characters already assigned count. GMs have no limit. |
| Other players' access to new characters | Follow the world | Ownership other players get. The creating player is always owner. |
| Starting level | 1 | Level new characters are created at. |
| Players may raise their level in the builder | On | Off: only the GM raises levels; players apply their plan to the level they've reached. |
| Players may rebuild their character in the builder | On | Off: only the GM can use Rebuild with this. |
| Level-up card | On | Whispered card with Apply the plan when a character gains a level. |
| Offer the builder to players without a character | On | Asks on login. |
| Plans per character | 5 | 1–10. |
| Folder for new characters | (none) | Actor folder; created if missing. |
| Upload folder for pictures | worlds/<world>/characters |
Where portraits and tokens are uploaded. |
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Rarities players can see | All | All · Common + uncommon · Common only. GMs see everything. |
| Hide legacy content for everyone | Off | Hides pre-remaster entries in everyone's builder (existing plans are kept). |
| Compendiums the builder reads | (automatic) | Choose compendiums — tick which packs ancestries, classes, feats, spells … come from, and whether homebrew in the world's Items tab is read (all · only what players may see · none). Companion-module animal/eidolon packs, packs disabled in the compendium browser and system packs replaced by a translation are left out by default. |
| Compendiums to read (advanced) | (blank) | Comma-separated pack IDs instead of the automatic pick. |
| Tidy PF2e choice windows | On | In PF2e's own "choose one" windows, leave out disabled/replaced packs and list each option once. |
| Allow cantrips as level-up spells | On | For spellbook and familiar classes, a cantrip may count as one of the two spells learned each level (the rule is ambiguous — your call). |
| Add class spells automatically | On | Spells granted by feats or features added directly on the sheet are added to the spellcasting entries. |
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Rutz Korean translation module ID | Blank: finds a Korean translation module with "rutz" in its ID, title or authors. |
| Translation module install URL | Shown in the one-time notice recommending the translation. |
