Project Folder Convention

Standardized folder naming ensures consistent organization across all designers and makes the Dashboard metrics, Job ID sequencing, and Search work correctly.

Naming Format

{YYYYMM}_{NNNN}{TYPE}_{BRAND}_{ProjectName}

Example: 202608_0042S_SSC_Raya-Campaign

Segment Breakdown

Year-Month YYYYMM 202608 Year and month of project creation
Job ID Number NNNN 0042 4-digit zero-padded sequential number
Job Type Code Single letter S Category of creative work
Brand Code 2–4 characters SSC Sub-brand identifier
Project Name PascalCase-Hyphenated Raya-Campaign Descriptive project name

Subfolder Structure

Each project folder contains a standardized set of subfolders:

Subfolder Contents
Artwork Design Working source files (.afdesign, .psd, .ai, .fig)
Artwork Mockup Presentation mockups and client preview renders
Assets Raw photography, icons, reference materials, supplied files
Production Exported outputs — PDF, PNG, SVG, MP4

Client Revisions Multi-round client feedback cycles
RAW Media Unedited photo/video shoot files

Job ID System

The Job ID auto-increments based on the highest existing Job ID number found in the workspace when the Project Creator is opened.

  • IDs are 4-digit zero-padded: 0001, 0042, 0100, 1000
  • The counter is per workspace root — each designer's workspace has its own sequence
  • You can override the next ID in Settings → Job ID Override

Directory Hierarchy

Projects are organized into year and month folders within the workspace root:

The Project Creator generates the full hierarchy — year folder, month folder, project folder, and all subfolders — in one operation.
