Battle.net

Battle.net support was originally contributed by iR3turnZ. The current app uses the templated engine with the BattleNet block in Platforms.json.

Local data

Common paths:

Item Path
Saved account config %AppData%\Battle.net\Battle.net.config
Battle.net data folder %AppData%\Battle.net\
Switcher cache {UserData}\LoginCache\BattleNet\

The live source of truth is {UserData}/Platforms.json.

Switching

  1. Close Battle.net processes and helper agents.
  2. Swap files listed in LoginFiles.
  3. Clear session paths listed in PathListToClear.
  4. Reorder or replace Battle.net config data so the target account is first.
  5. Launch Battle.net.exe.

Battle.net does not need to be open before a swap.

Add accounts

  1. Click Add New in the switcher.
  2. Sign in through Battle.net with Remember password enabled.
  3. Let the switcher detect the account from config files.
  4. If it does not appear, click Save Current after login.

Do not use Battle.net's sign-out button for setup.

Remove accounts

Right-click an account and choose Forget.

This hides the account from the switcher and records ignore metadata. It does not delete the Battle.net account.

Restore forgotten accounts from platform Settings -> Tools when backups exist.

Overwatch stats

The old dedicated BattleTag/Overwatch SR UI was removed. Overwatch is now a game statistics definition:

  • Game: Overwatch
  • Platform compatibility: BattleNet
  • Variable: BattleTag

Enable stats from the account row stats icon. The Overwatch career profile must be public.

CLI

TcNo-Acc-Switcher.exe +b:<uniqueId>

The unique id is usually the account email or the id stored in ids.json.
