How This Project Is Built

RerunTV is vibe-coded: an AI coding agent, Claude Code, wrote almost all of the code, working from the project owner's direction rather than the code being written by hand.
- Who decides what. The project owner sets the goals, makes the product and architecture calls (the numbered design documents in docs/design/ are where they are written down), runs the app, and approves what ships.
- How it is checked. About 470 automated tests (including property-based tests), CI that builds and launches the real installer on every push, CodeQL and OpenSSF Scorecard analysis, and dependency scanning. Many commits are authored or co-authored by Claude, and say so.
- What it has not had. An independent human code review or a third-party security audit. Expect rough edges, treat it as a beta, and read SECURITY.md before using the optional network features.
- The agent's instructions are in the repository (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md), so the way it works is visible too.
For how to work on it, see Development, and for the security picture see Security.
