Quick Start
- Install and open RerunTV (see Installation) and work through the first-run setup.
- In Channel Setup, open the LINEUP tab and click + ADD CHANNEL.
- Click ADD FOLDER and pick a folder of videos from your own library. The app scans it and reads each file's length. This takes a moment on a large folder.
- Repeat for more channels (or ADD FOLDER again to merge more folders into one channel). Click a channel's name or number to rename or renumber it.
- Click START WATCHING (bottom right).
You are now surfing live TV: the picture you land on is where the channel would be if its folder had been looping since you created it. Press S any time to go back to setup.

All keys are listed on Keyboard Controls.
RerunTV ships no video, so there is a generated demo lineup (five channels of synthetic test video and tones, nothing copyrighted).
Easiest: download RerunTV-demo-library.zip from the latest release, unzip it
somewhere permanent, and add each folder as a channel (the zip has a README.txt with the steps).
Or generate it yourself from a source checkout. You need ffmpeg on your PATH.
npm install
node scripts/make-demo-library.js demo-libraryThen in the app open Channel Setup, add a channel per folder under demo-library/, and press
Start Watching. Pass --seconds 60 for shorter clips that generate faster, and
--config <userDataFolder> to also write a ready-made channel lineup. That lineup also turns off
the channel-change static and CRT flicker.
