Power Delivery

To get maximum power to the motor, the pulse width modulation (pwm) duty cycle (dc) needs to be 100% - always at the maximum.

The duty_min and duty_max settings govern this.

The default value for duty_max is 100% - leave this alone.

The default value for duty_min is 1% - probably not what you want. So you might want to change this to 100%

Do this using the WiFi link.

In its default setting the power is scaled up from the duty_min value to the duty_max value starting at the ANALOG_MIN voltage to the ANALOG_MAX voltage. You can find these voltages from the firmware you are running. As the voltage increases - so does the duty cycle. This scaling is quadratic, not linear. So you'll experience. greater increase in power the more power is applied.

So how does this feel on the track?.. A lower duty_min value will give you less speed increase per band in the lower range of your controller but you will notice a quick increase in speed at the higher controller bands. This can be used to have more control on the slower parts of the track.

A higher duty_min value will increase the speed in a more linear fashion as you go up the controller bands.

Its effect is similar to having a setting in your controller that alters the amount of voltage delivered based on trigger position - less voltage at small trigger settings and proportionally more at higher deflection.

So in a nutshell - if duty_min is set to 100, it's the first non-zero duty cycle. Thus when throttle becomes non-zero (voltage above ANALOG_MIN), it's applied after sync.
