Blocks and Items
This page lists the multiblock structures, interfaces, buses, devices, tools, machines and crafting components added by AE2Enhanced.
A 344-block crafting array comparable to a giant molecular assembler, built for extreme parallel autocrafting.
- Parallelism up to
Long.MAX_VALUE. - Encoded crafting patterns are uploaded to the nearest hub automatically.
- Six upgrade module types are available (see Assembly Hub Upgrade Modules).
An unlimited-capacity storage structure (21 blocks).
- Item counts are tracked with
HugeCount(long fast path + BigInteger overflow), so astronomically large amounts stay exact. - Supports items, fluids, Mekanism gases and Thaumcraft essentia.
- Data is persisted to external files (base snapshot + write-ahead log + idle checkpoints), which avoids save bloat and NBT overflow.
- If data is corrupted, the structure falls back to a read-only safe mode.
A super crafting CPU structure (~860 blocks) that hosts a managed pool of native AE2 CraftingCPUCluster instances.
- One persistent cluster plus dynamic clusters created for concurrent orders.
- Several orders can run at the same time, and idle clusters are reclaimed automatically.
An advanced ME Interface that binds remotely to target block entities and turns external crafting devices into native AE2 automation.
- Remote binding at any distance, with an unlimited number of targets.
- Unlimited, CPU-free one-to-many parallel dispatch.
- Automatic product collection (including returned items such as empty buckets).
-
Automatic device adaptation for 13 mod device families plus a generic
IItemHandlerfallback - see Integration. - For recipes with primary and auxiliary materials, the primary material must be placed in the first pattern slot.
-
Virtual Parallel Cards (Tier 1-8): installing one switches supported targets to pure virtual batch crafting, with parallelism from 8 up to
Long.MAX_VALUE. Targets with no physical interaction space (crafting-table-like devices) run virtually even without a card. - Bind targets with the Universal Memory Card.
- Converts the bound machine's JEI recipes into Smart Patterns in bulk.
- One Smart Pattern can hold many recipes, each individually toggleable and lockable.
- Supports JEI
[+]filling, input/output rotation and batch replacement. - It is a pure manual configuration terminal and does not connect to the ME network.
- A single bus handles all types: items, fluids, gases and essentia.
- The Import Bus pulls into the ME network; the Export Bus pushes out to adjacent containers.
Maintains exact target amounts in external containers.
- Up to 9 filter slots, each with an independent target amount.
- Smart balancing: below target it exports from the network; above target it imports the excess back.
- Middle-click a config slot to set the amount (math expressions such as
64*2are supported). - Target amounts map 1:1 to their unit: items = count, fluids = mB, gases = units, essentia = units.
- The RF counterpart of a normal storage bus: exposes adjacent RF containers (Forge Energy / Draconic Evolution extended RF) to the ME network.
- Supports priority, access mode and whitelist.
- Merges the former RF / Mana / Starlight access nodes into a single block.
- Automatically performs the matching IO based on the adjacent block, and the input/output mode can be switched.
- Draws RF from the ME network's RF storage channel and powers every FE device in the chunk (compressed variant: the surrounding 3x3 chunks).
- Costs 1 channel.
- Supplies Mana from the ME network to Botania mana consumers in the chunk (compressed variant: the surrounding 3x3 chunks).
- Requires ProjectE.
- Exposes the bound player's EMC balance (BigInteger-level) as an item source for the ME network.
- Reaching the EMC cap unlocks a creative mode.
- A block that broadcasts 32 dense channels.
- Insert a blank card into the transmitter's GUI to bind it.
- Insert the bound card into any AE2 device to give that device a remote wireless connection.
- Unlimited distance and cross-dimension by default (configurable).
A stronger memory card for building and maintaining large factories.
- Copy (Shift+right-click): copy a block entity's configuration and upgrades.
- Paste (right-click): paste the copied content.
- Select (Ctrl+right-click): batch-select similar block entities and paste to all of them; single, chain and area selection modes are available.
- Clear bindings (Alt+right-click); right-click air to open its GUI.
- Copies configuration and upgrade cards across mods (Mekanism, Ender IO, Thermal Expansion and more).
- Also used to bind Central ME Interface targets.
- Four modes: Universal / Placement / Rotate / Travel.
- Silk touch and fortune options.
- Drop routing: normal / your inventory / the ME network.
- Press C to open its configuration GUI.
- Supports upgrades such as Chaos Core, Bedrock Breaker and Travel Staff.
- Places blocks, AE2 parts, facades and cables directly from the ME network.
- Press G for a radial selection menu.
- Batch placement with direction locking.
- A Markdown-based in-game guide book: 28 pages, English and Chinese, 4 themes.
- Hold G while hovering a related item to jump straight to the matching page.
A late-game single-block, high-parallelism processing machine.
- Aggregates recipes from Black Hole Crafting, the AE2 Inscriber (including merged multi-step chains), crystal charging / fluix aggregation / seed growth and the AE2 Grinder, plus custom recipes via CraftTweaker.
- Inputs enter long-scale buffer slots (pipes or the GUI).
- Virtual Parallel Cards set the parallel channel count; batches of the same recipe merge into a single job; speed cards shorten processing time.
- Output is injected into the ME network first, with an internal output buffer as fallback.
- The GUI offers three redstone modes (ignore / high / low).
- Intercepts dropped items before they spawn as entities and injects them into the ME network.
- Internal buffer, 63-slot filter inventory and a configurable collection area.
- Manages remote and cross-dimension recycling targets.
- Products are written directly into the Hyperdimensional Storage Nexus.
- A free-form multiblock display wall, 2
16 x 29. - Shows ME network statistics with 5 chart types: Line / Area / Delta / Rate / Stacked.
- Display Frames (Dark / Light) provide the border of the wall.
- Create a Micro Singularity through the Micro Singularity Ritual, then right-click it to run Black Hole recipes.
- The Micro Singularity lasts 300 seconds by default.
- Recipes can be added or removed with CraftTweaker - see Integration.
- Throw 64 AE2 Singularities and 4 Nether Stars onto the ground.
- Then hold a Nether Star and right-click an ME Controller to obtain a Constrained Micro Singularity.
Fuels extend the lifetime of a Micro Singularity when you right-click it:
| Item | Effect |
|---|---|
| Stable Spacetime Manifold | +600 s lifetime |
| Differential Form Stabilizer | +2400 s lifetime |
| Conformal Invariant Charge | permanent existence |
- Right-click air to open the configuration GUI; right-click a block to teleport; Shift+right-click a block to bind an entry point (inside your own dimension only).
- Configurable rules include mob spawning, weather/time lock, daylight cycle, flight, movement speed and flight inertia.
- See Personal Dimension.
- Micro Singularity - the block form created by the ritual; lasts 300 seconds and is right-clicked to craft.
- Singularity Constrictor - right-click a Micro Singularity to constrain it into item form. Throwing the singularity on the ground restores the block form and returns the empty constrictor on the spot.
- Constrained Micro Singularity - the item form of the singularity; its countdown runs at 1/30 speed while in item form.
Components of the Smart Pattern Interface: a Smart Blank Pattern is written into a Smart Pattern, which holds many recipes at once.
- Installed into the Central ME Interface or the Singularity Processing Chamber.
- Switches supported targets to pure virtual batch crafting; parallelism scales from 8 up to
Long.MAX_VALUE. - Each virtual craft consumes AE, with the cost shown on the tooltip.
