General

Q: Is AE2Enhanced compatible with standard AE2? No. It requires AE2-UEL v0.56.7+. It will crash on startup with standard AE2.

Q: Can I use it on a server? Yes. Required on both client and server.

Omni Terminal

Q: Why does my terminal close randomly? Three causes:

1. Out of wireless range — move closer to your access point.
2. No power — ensure your network has energy.
3. Using ae2fc with an old AE2Enhanced version — update to 1.4.4+.

Q: How do I use it in a Baubles slot? Equip it in a trinket slot and press Shift+E to open from anywhere.

Q: JEI search sync does not work. The default key is F. Check Options → Controls → Key Binds for conflicts.

Q: Can I encode 81-input processing patterns? Yes. Switch to Processing Mode in the Omni Terminal.

Q: What happens if I put an encoded pattern in the output slot? It auto-loads the pattern's inputs, outputs, and mode back into the grid. Useful for editing.

Q: Why do my search settings reset on restart? SEARCH_MODE and TERMINAL_STYLE are global AE2 settings, not per-terminal. Change them in the AE2 config.

Assembly Hub

Q: Why is my hub not crafting? Check:

1. Valid multiblock structure (use Smart Wrench).
2. Connected to ME network.
3. Using crafting-mode patterns (not processing-mode).
4. Chunk-loaded.

Q: How do I auto-upload patterns? Install an Auto-Upload Upgrade in the hub.

Wireless Channel

Q: Can I connect across dimensions? Yes, if crossDimension is true in config (default). Uses more power.

Q: Receiver card not working? Make sure:

1. The card is bound (insert into transmitter GUI first).
2. The transmitter is chunk-loaded.
3. You are within range.

Stocking Bus

Q: Not maintaining correct amount? Check:

1. Target container's I/O sides are correct.
2. Filter slot is not a ghost item (middle-click, enter 0 to clear).
3. Add Speed Cards if dealing with large inventories.

Q: Outputs empty buckets? Update to AE2Enhanced 1.4.4. This was fixed in that version.

Hyperdimensional Storage

Q: Can I disable async I/O? Yes. Set asyncIO = false in config. Writes become synchronous — no data-loss window, but possible lag.

Q: Where are the files? <world>/ae2enhanced/storage/. One JSON file per item type.

Black Hole Crafting

Q: Is the singularity consumed? Yes for Singularity Consumption Recipes. No for Stable Recipes (use a Stabilized Singularity).

Q: No output after ritual? The event horizon lasts 30 seconds by default. Place items near it during that window.

Performance

Q: FPS drops when opening terminal? Use SMALL mode instead of TALL. TALL renders more slots.

Q: TPS drops with many Stocking Buses? Spread buses across chunks and add Speed Cards.
