Privacy

Stays on your computer

Your library, its index, previews, settings and logs. Backup passwords, in your system keychain or a file only you can read.

Leaves only when you ask

Downloads	fetched from the sites whose links you bring
Page snapshots	made here, from the page a pack came from
archive.org copies	only while that switch is on, and only the address is sent
Update checks	a read of the published releases; no identifier, nothing about your library
Backups	only where you set up, encrypted before they leave
Sync	directly between computers you have paired
Error reports	never without your say-so, and you see the contents first
Helper programs	Kopia, rclone or Syncthing, from their own projects, checked against their published checksums

Opens on your computer

The agent door, while the app is open: an address on this computer alone (127.0.0.1, port 7458 by default). Nothing on your network or the internet can reach it, and a web page cannot use it either. It can be switched off, and every call it answers is listed in the app.

Never

No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and nothing sold or shared, because nothing is collected to sell or share.
