Before you drive

Airport activity is weather- and staffing-dependent. Contact the club before making a special trip. A quiet ramp can mean operations are delayed or staged elsewhere on the field.

Visitor field etiquette

• Check in before walking onto operating areas.
• Never cross a runway, taxiway, tow rope, or launch path without explicit direction.
• Keep children and pets under close control.
• Stay clear of propellers—even when an engine appears stopped.
• Follow directions from the operations manager and field crew immediately.
• Ask before touching or leaning on an aircraft.

Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, layers, and closed-toe shoes. Expect grass, wind, aircraft noise during tow operations, and periods of waiting.
