FLSC Holtz simulator

The Holtz simulator is a training multiplier. It cannot reproduce every aircraft cue, but it can make procedures, scan patterns, and decision sequences familiar before cockpit workload rises.

High-value uses include cockpit orientation, coordinated turns, aerotow geometry, pattern planning, radio/checklist rehearsal, weather scenarios, and instructor-guided abnormal-situation chair flying.

Use a clear objective, fly short scenarios, pause for coaching, and debrief immediately. Simulation does not prove competence, currency, or qualification; control feel, peripheral cues, wind variability, and consequence differ from an aircraft.
