Towplanes
The Pawnee is the club’s primary towplane. Its power and visibility suit launch work, but safe towing depends on aircraft condition, a qualified tow pilot, coordinated ground operations, and sound weather judgment.
The Citabria supports appropriate towing, utility, spin-training, field-selection, and tow-pilot training roles under current authorization and limitations.
Safe aerotow links the glider pilot, tow pilot, wing runner, and operations manager. Each protects the launch from a different viewpoint. No wiki page substitutes for approved tow procedures, briefings, qualifications, or real-time decisions.
