This release introduces upgrade guides. You should get a copy of the 0.5.0 Upgrade Guide when you start up the modpack. It is highly recommended that existing players read upgrade guides for new versions, as they will summarize important changes which affect gameplay.
- Added a nutrient HUD overlay to Nutrition: HcA edition which fades away when a player's nutrients get close to full
- Fixed the list of morphs in the survival morph menu sometimes not updating when acquiring morphs or dying
- Fixed Iberia bug causing inventory items to get shuffled unexpectedly when opening an inventory
- Fixed morphs missing the primitive sustenance and underwater fishing abilities
- Fixed custom morph keybinds not working
- Fixed mob death sounds
- Fixed player death sounds
- Fixed double-tapping a key at end of the survival morph menu causing the player to morph
- Fixed items vanishing from ground while the player is morphed by disabling Quark's "Animals eat floor food" feature
- Fixed a startup crash in DominionLib
- Fixed a crash when opening the nutrition GUI
- Fixed several rare crashes and exceptions in Village Box and Not Enough Potions caused by network packets being handled on the wrong thread
- Bed Patch has been temporarily disabled for bugtesting purposes
- Added an upgrade guide system which distributes upgrade guides to players. For now, all players who play 0.5.0 will receive a 0.5.0 upgrade guide. Upgrade guides give important information about changes to the modpack and will be distributed to players on an as-needed basis.
- Fixed dietary restriction information getting applied to non-food items when crafting them. Items which are not food but are used in food recipes may still have dietary restrictions. This fix should also hopefully reduce the number of broken crafting recipes caused by ingredients having dietary restrictions, for example Thaumcraft essentia labels.
- Fixed nutrition loss from the thirst effect not updating the nutrition GUI after the nutrition GUI is first opened
- Added dietary restriction information to a few more items
- Improved the guidebook with more earlygame tips for maintaining nutrition and thirst
