HappyCodex v1.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 16 Aug 17:44

Context-efficient subagent routing for HappyCodex.

  • Reuses stable subagent bodies for decision-changing deltas and uses fresh no-history children for independent evidence bodies.
  • Adds compact auditable handoffs, Root seam correlation, and reason-gated rereads.
  • Keeps small bounded work direct and makes compact ExecPlan reread conditional while preserving unconditional live-state re-grounding.
  • Preserves v1.3.0 authority, freeze, secret-exclusion, Exact-final, and one-shot effect semantics.
  • Reduces installed Skill tokens by about 7.5% on the measured tokenizer while avoiding hard quotas or truncation.

Validated with 106 offline tests, Skill and plugin validators, blind forward tests, and a fresh blocker-only Exact-final GO for 5e1386a.

HappyCodex v1.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 14 Aug 08:31

Proportional blocker admission for HappyCodex.

  • Grounds blockers and required coverage in supported paths and real Outcome, preservation, workflow, or material safety requirements.
  • Keeps the bounded repair/replacement review ladder and one-shot external-effect semantics.
  • Adds a closed 29-scenario evaluator matrix covering both material blockers and non-blocking incidental concerns.

Validated with 103 tracked offline tests, Skill and plugin validators, and a fresh blocker-only Exact-final GO for b04ca81.

HappyCodex v1.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 13 Aug 16:31

HappyCodex v1.2.1 makes native agent spawn context selection explicit.

  • Default explicit agent_type, model, or reasoning_effort spawns to a self-contained fork_turns="none" packet.
  • Use the smallest positive fork only when a recent raw artifact cannot be faithfully referenced or restated.
  • Reserve omitted/"all" for intentional same-agent inheritance.
  • Add public-contract coverage for these launch-packet invariants.

Validation: 101 offline tests passed; the focused 11-test routing/firewall suite passed; Skill and plugin validators passed; fresh Exact-final returned GO for ccd14fe.

HappyCodex v1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 13 Aug 06:25

HappyCodex v1.2.0 is a deletion-first refinement of the Codex-native reliability guidance for high-risk engineering work.

Highlights:

  • Reduces the installed Skill from 200 lines / 1825 words to 145 lines / 1153 words while preserving decision-bearing safety.
  • Clarifies that a scout or worker required by an applicable Skill is an explicit delegation request when host rules prohibit only proactive delegation; a real host denial still wins.
  • Replaces long phrase-lock checks with closed scenario-to-decision coverage for delegation and advisory-pass stopping.
  • Keeps consumer-native immutable freeze, one writer per overlap, blocker-only Exact-final review, one-shot effects, truthful closure, and recovery-surface preservation.

Validation:

  • 101/101 offline standard-library tests passed.
  • Skill and plugin validators plus git diff --check passed.
  • Fresh replacement Exact-final returned GO for candidate tree acd20cfc51ad93b40710f83814186fe9a9ada205.

HappyCodex v1.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 13 Aug 05:41

HappyCodex v1.1.0 makes advisory review converge without imposing a fixed round cap.

Highlights:

  • Keeps advisory reviewers reusable and follow-ups uncapped while requiring every new pass to have a bounded, verdict-changing reason.
  • Prevents an old standing instruction from automatically renewing passes; an unknown that no bounded pass can resolve is reported instead of looped.
  • Clarifies that advisory evidence adds no authority and may refine planned surfaces only inside the unchanged authorization boundary.
  • Treats compatibility breaks as proposals until the exact incompatibility and material consumer, data, or cutover effects are request-authorized.
  • Preserves fresh immutable Exact-final review, one-writer ownership, stateless evaluation, and the v1.0.0 scope-stability contract.

Validation:

  • 101 offline tests passed.
  • Skill and plugin validation passed.
  • Fresh Exact-final returned GO for tree df246eb4a1cde5bef94e415f34b20773d4602fcf.

HappyCodex v1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 13 Aug 03:39

HappyCodex v1.0.0 establishes the stable Codex-native reliability contract for
high-risk and long-running engineering work.

Highlights:

  • Separates the workspace/task authorization boundary from the exact frozen
    consumer input closure and one-writer overlap.
  • Treats bounded additive tool caches and task-owned temporary, log, and
    compiled output as reportable incidental footprint rather than scope drift.
  • Keeps system or shared installs, destructive shared-cache changes, trust and
    credential state, remote or paid resources, ambiguous effects, and omitted
    consumer inputs fail-closed.
  • Preserves stateless evaluation, consumer-native freeze, one-shot external
    effects, evidence-based convergence, and fresh blocker-only terminal review.

HappyCodex v0.16.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 12 Aug 10:25

HappyCodex v0.16.0 adds evidence-first scouting for architecture and design recommendations grounded in current implementation facts.

Highlights:

  • Routes unread, multi-artifact current-fact questions to one native read-only scout before the Primary forms a recommendation.
  • Requires observable questions and a facts-only report with citations, searched scope, and unknowns.
  • Keeps judgment with the Primary and skips the scout when one or two bounded direct lookups suffice or the facts are already verified.
  • Extends deterministic evaluator fixtures, oracles, schemas, and tests with a broad positive case and a bounded negative control.
  • Preserves native zero-configuration routing with no custom agent, model pin, or external provider dependency.

Validation:

  • 100/100 offline tests passed.
  • Skill and plugin validators passed.
  • Fresh no-history Exact-final: GO for commit 735b75d.

HappyCodex v0.15.1

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 12 Aug 09:08

HappyCodex v0.15.1 bounds Root convergence on decision-changing evidence
while preserving hard-task blockers, required unknowns, and existing release
safety.

Highlights:

  • Adds an explicit stability handoff covering Outcome, change boundary, Done,
    writer, blockers, increments, and exclusions.
  • Gives the fixed Executor the candidate write lock and admits later revision
    briefs only with new decision-changing evidence or a concrete blocker.
  • Admits new obligations through a concrete Outcome, preservation, required-
    workflow, or candidate-new safety/correctness failure path; plan-stage
    reasoning remains allowed and implementation reproduces where feasible.
  • Preserves current blockers and required unknowns instead of treating the
    convergence gate as a reason to escape or close them.
  • Allows Root at most one focused verification after delegated evidence,
    requires naming the verdict it could flip, and answers status/conclusion
    requests with the current verdict and unknowns first.
  • Makes Root read-only after freeze and returns any candidate change to the
    fixed Executor before checks, refreeze, and existing review semantics.
  • Adds no controller, mutable ledger, runtime monitor, model downgrade, token
    quota, or other runtime enforcement mechanism.

Validation:

  • Full offline suite, focused convergence/version tests, manifest JSON and
    Python import validation, Skill/plugin validators, line budgets, published-
    tree immutability, commit-bound readback, and Git diff checks pass.
  • Fresh no-history blocker-only Exact-final: GO.

HappyCodex v0.15.0

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 11 Aug 11:50

HappyCodex v0.15.0 separates iterative convergence from terminal Exact-final admission without adding a controller or mutable review ledger.

Highlights:

  • Keeps iterative convergence review advisory and uncapped while requiring a fresh no-history reviewer over one immutable identity for terminal evidence.
  • Allows follow-up and messaging, but downgrades later Exact-final-handle output to convergence-only instead of enforcing a round limit.
  • Adds optional, stateless, trust-dependent hook guardrails using the default plugin hook path; hooks are explicitly bypassable and not an enforcement boundary.
  • Includes hook bytes in consumer identity and represents a hookless previous release with explicit absent entries under one identity scheme.
  • Clarifies plan-only review, composite candidate envelopes, and one writer across overlapping semantic contracts and effect resources.

Validation:

  • Full offline suite, focused hook/cross-version tests, Skill/plugin validators, JSON/Python validation, line budgets, and Git diff checks pass.
  • Fresh blocker-only Exact-final: GO.

HappyCodex v0.14.1

Choose a tag to compare

@cch96 cch96 released this 11 Aug 05:28

HappyCodex v0.14.1 clarifies ExecPlan testing order and temporary runtime
resources without adding a new control plane.

Highlights:

  • Keeps focused real-path checks during iteration and places the required
    cumulative or full suite after candidate scope is stable and before native
    freeze.
  • Makes task-created or reused containers, temporary database roles, and
    reserved ports or sockets explicit mutable-resource examples.
  • Checks that task-created temporary resources are cleaned up or explicitly
    retained when applicable.
  • Adds no Session/Outcome protocol, controller, ledger, scheduler, resource
    receipt, cleanup state machine, or recovery snapshot.

Validation:

  • Full offline suite, import check, Skill/plugin validators, and Git diff
    checks pass.
  • Fresh blocker-only exact-final: GO.
