Steering Committee 20230314 Minutes
Attendees: Andy, Rebecca, Tim and Yan
Update from Andy: SirsiDynix plan to work on the issues reported including those NC State reported and fix them in the next few weeks before the next SC meeting.
Rebecca has created and uploaded two tutorials- licensing module and usage module. She'll work with Jennifer/Angela to upload the recordings from last years' online summit. Tim will create a tutorial for installation.
Once all contents are uploaded, Rebecca and Yan will work on publicity through CORAL website, social media and slack channel.
Tim, Rebecca and Yan provided an update on their progress with reviewing CORAL repository issues. They have finished first round of review: closed issues either solved or no longer of interest; tagged issues requiring further discussion among SC or needing checking by developers. The group discussed and decided that the task group will re-group in May to prioritize issues/pull requests.
There was a question about the process to merge a pull request. Andy pointed out that it's the best practice to have someone else not the pull request owner to test the code first before merging it.
