Diagnostics and privacy
Live diagnostics show received RTL bytes, complex samples, bounded worker timing, display skips and known application discontinuities. Audio underruns and exact hardware sample loss are labeled unavailable because the installed upstream audio player and unsequenced RTL byte stream do not expose those values.
Diagnostics also retain a bounded two-minute history and structured failures for the current page session. Users can review, send, copy or download a sanitized JSON report. Automatic diagnostic submission is on by default and can be disabled in Diagnostics; a saved opt-out is respected. Reports never include I/Q samples, audio, spectrum/waterfall contents, decoded messages, USB serial numbers, imported metadata or survey locations. Exact tuned frequency is excluded unless the user enables it in the review dialog. The collector does not store an IP address or IP-derived identifier; the report endpoints must also be excluded from web-server and upstream access logs. See the error-reporting design and privacy boundary.
