Select DAB / DAB+ for Band III reception. BrowserSDR then selects 2.4 MS/s, offers the standard 5A–13F channel centres, and runs the Mode-I OFDM, FIC, MSC, DAB+ superframe and feature-detected WebCodecs HE-AAC chain in a worker without shipping an AAC codec. The first unencrypted DAB+ stream service is selected automatically. Legacy MPEG Layer II DAB and encrypted services are not supported.

Select ADS-B to tune 1090 MHz at 2.4 MS/s. CRC-validated DF17/DF18 extended squitters populate an aircraft table and license-free position plot with transmitted identity, airborne position, altitude and velocity. Select AIS to tune 162 MHz and receive AIS 1 (161.975 MHz) and AIS 2 (162.025 MHz) simultaneously; validated vessel position and static reports populate the same bounded target UI. Both modes support live I/Q recording, replay and target JSON export.

Select SRD for one explicit OOK/ASK-envelope or binary-FSK channel. The bounded inspector shows traces, pulses, truncation and timing candidates without automatic protocol guesses. Acurite 592TXR and Fine Offset WH51 readings appear only after their documented integrity checks; all other bursts remain unknown. SRD works at effective 1.024 or 2.4 MS/s, including the existing high-rate selected-channel reduction, compatible replay, persisted settings and bounded JSON export.

Select APRS for receive-only 1200-baud VHF Bell-202 packets. The station/packet display preserves AX.25 FCS validation, reported position ambiguity, paths, status/messages, supported weather and unknown payloads. Select RS41 for unencrypted 4800-bit/s sonde frames; its display separates Reed–Solomon correction from each sub-block CRC and shows validated tracks/velocity, WGS-84 ellipsoidal height and GPS-system time. Calibrated PTU and encrypted variants remain unsupported. Both use effective 1.024 or 2.4 MS/s, including existing wideband reduction and compatible I/Q replay. Decoder details and explicit JSON exports retain bounded records and sample-clock provenance. Independent off-air APRS and real wideband RS41 I/Q acceptance, plus physical receiver checks, remain pending; generated RF checks are not those gates.

Every live or replay mode transition configures the selected digital decoder with the session's actual sample rate and channel-to-capture frequency offset before routing its first block. Unsupported rates are rejected while the current route remains active. Digital state resets on mode changes, retunes and declared replay gaps so partial frames and targets cannot cross a discontinuity.

In WBFM, the Radio Data System panel decodes validated RDS groups from the raw FM multiplex before audio low-pass/de-emphasis. It reports PI, complete Programme Service and RadioText when available, and otherwise says No RDS decoded. Retuning, changing mode or changing station clears prior text; a visible 57 kHz peak alone is never treated as decoded RDS.
