You can use an active connection to change its database account password.
An administrator must enable this feature in Settings -> Administration -> Server Configuration -> Security -> Enable database user password change.
Note: You must also have permission to edit the project data source, and the database driver must support password changes.

- Connect to the database.
- Open the connection context menu and select Change database password.
- In the dialog, enter the password in the Current password box, then enter the new password in the New password and Confirm password boxes.
- Submit the dialog.
After the password changes, CloudBeaver shows a notification, saves the new database account password in the connection credentials, and disconnects the connection. The next connection uses the new password.
