On Randomizes the species and allows moves, abilities and items to be randomized.

Move Randomizer

Off Keeps the moves.
Only Legal Uses unique moves the final species can legally obtain.
Any Standard Uses moves found in normal learnsets and excludes gimmick-only moves.
Unrestricted May use any registered move, including special-mechanic moves.

Ability Randomizer

  • Only Legal: chooses an ability available to that species and form.
  • On: chooses any registered ability, even if the result is normally illegal.

Held Item Randomizer

  • Random: chooses a random standard battle item.
  • Competitive: chooses an item suited to the final species, moves and ability.

AI Difficulty

Mode Result
Standard Uses the original Trainer choice with basic protection against obvious allied waste.
Strategic Keeps the original move but improves targeting, damage estimates, status use and team coordination.
Competitive May choose another move from the current moveset when it predicts a clearly better action.

Competitive AI never rerolls or replaces the Pokemon's moveset during the battle. It chooses only from the moves already available when the battle started.
