Rotwire Field Guide

Rotwire turns a familiar Minecraft world into a hard-won survival story. Cities are dangerous, every expedition needs a plan, and a working radio becomes the link between a temporary shelter and a community worth defending.

If this is your first day, follow this order:

  1. Fill a canteen and find a reliable route to purified water.
  2. Activate useful Waystones before you need an emergency way home. (will be replaced with the campsite settlement system)
  3. Set up overhead shelter before the first night.
  4. Build and calibrate a Radio Transmitter. It opens contracts, reports horde activity, and forecasts tomorrow's weather.

Read the warnings early. Thirst, temperature, infection, weight, horde fog, and toxic weather all give you time to react—until they do not.

Rotwire complements the surrounding survival modpack. Recipes, key binds, and balance can change between releases or servers; when in doubt, use the in-game Survivor's Field Manual, your radio, and the tooltips on the item in front of you.
