Survivor Network
The Survivor Network is your practical connection to the people still moving supplies, research, and weapons through the world. Open it from a calibrated Radio Transmitter. The quest book remains a useful journal away from the radio, but accepting contracts and transmitting final submissions must be done at a radio.

The network is organized around specialists. Their available contracts grow as you complete earlier work.
| Contact | Specialty |
|---|---|
| Elias Ward — Quartermaster | Supplies, logistics, camp equipment, and ammunition resupply. |
| Dr. Mara Voss — Medic | Infection research, suppressants, cures, and medical support. |
| Rook — Arms Broker | Weapons, ammunition, attachments, and high-value requisitions. |
| Nadia Vale — Surveyor | Reconnaissance, field work, city objectives, and signal upgrades. |
| Mason Reed — Builder | Salvage, practical plans, construction materials, and field infrastructure. |
- Open the radio and select a contact.
- Accept the contract while connected. Kill and collection objectives begin counting after acceptance.
- Complete the stated work. Read every task: some require kills, items, city clears, or recovered evidence.
- Return to a transmitter with any required submission items and transmit the completion report.
- Wait for the courier. A notification tells you when the delivery is ready; use a transmitter to collect it.
Ready deliveries are placed in your Quartermaster Cache first when one is installed, then in your inventory. Deliveries persist, so you do not have to be standing at the radio when a courier arrives.
Contracts may be repeatable, locked behind earlier work, or bound to a particular city. A city-operation contract must be accepted through a radio mapped to that city; only new, unique building clears in that same city advance it.
For collection jobs, keep the required item until the transmitter confirms it. For combat jobs, only kills after acceptance count. If a task shows a lock, complete its prerequisite rather than searching for a hidden interaction.

Documents, Research Data, and Encrypted Intel are more than loot. They are evidence valued by the network, feeding better equipment, field infrastructure, and camp extensions. Encrypted Intel is especially valuable after a Brute encounter.
The radio also includes three compact field reports:
- Horde Watch: horde-day status, active-horde state, and the current world time;
- WX: present weather, transitions, today's window, tomorrow's forecast, and season; and
- City Status: mapped-city clears, danger, infected health bonus, and progress to the next level.
Next: use a mapped city safely or plan around the weather and horde nights.
