Survivor Network

The Survivor Network gives you contracts, deliveries, medical items, weapons, and camp equipment. Open it from a calibrated Radio Transmitter. You can read the quest book anywhere, but accept and submit contracts at a radio.

Contacts

Each contact has a different contract line. Complete prerequisites to unlock more work.

Contact Focus
Elias Ward — Quartermaster Supplies, camp equipment, and ammunition.
Dr. Mara Voss — Medic Infection treatment and medical supplies.
Rook — Arms Broker Weapons, ammunition, and attachments.
Nadia Vale — Surveyor Recon, field work, and city objectives.
Mason Reed — Builder Salvage, construction materials, and infrastructure.

How contracts work

  1. Open the radio and choose a contact.
  2. Accept the contract while connected. Kills and collection tasks start counting after acceptance.
  3. Complete the listed objectives.
  4. Return to a transmitter and submit any required items.
  5. Collect the delivery when the courier message says it is ready.

Ready deliveries go into the Quartermaster Cache first, if you have one, then into your inventory. Deliveries stay available until you collect them.

Check the details

Some contracts repeat, some need earlier work, and some are tied to a specific city. A city-operation contract must be accepted through a radio mapped to that city. Only new, unique clears in that city advance it.

For item tasks, keep the item until the radio confirms submission. For combat tasks, only kills after acceptance count.

Documents, Research Data, and Encrypted Intel are used for equipment, camp infrastructure, and upgrades. Brute encounters can provide Encrypted Intel.

The radio also reports:

  • Horde Watch: horde-day and active-horde status plus the current time;
  • WX: current weather, transitions, today's window, tomorrow's forecast, and season; and
  • City Status: clears, danger, infected health bonus, and progress to the next level.

Next: use a mapped city or plan around weather and hordes.
