A3D_OnStopped

imshooter edited this page Oct 17, 2026 · 1 revision

A moving physics object came to rest, or fell below 3dandreas.floor and was stopped there.

public A3D_OnStopped(Physic:physicid, Float:x, Float:y, Float:z)

Parameters

Parameter Description
Physic:physicid Physics object that stopped.
Float:x Position on the X axis.
Float:y Position on the Y axis.
Float:z Position on the Z axis.

Remarks

An object stops when it has moved less than about three centimetres a second for half a second, and falls asleep. By the time of the call, the object players see stands exactly where the body rests. The callback comes again each time the object stops after it wakes.

An object that falls below 3dandreas.floor is stopped there and calls it too, which catches what falls through the map or off its edge. See Configuration.

It is called in the script that created the object, and it is safe to destroy the object inside it.

Example

Destroys what fell out of the world.

public A3D_OnStopped(Physic:physicid, Float:x, Float:y, Float:z) {
    if (z < -50.0) {
        A3D_DestroyObject(physicid);
    }

    return 1;
}
