Vehicle Parts

A3D_GetVehiclePartPosition finds a part of a vehicle in the world. Each part comes from what the game gives for the model with GetVehicleModelInfo: the size of its box, the places of its seats, wheels and petrol cap, and the heights of its bumpers. The offset is then turned with the vehicle, so it follows slopes and rolls.

Offsets are measured from the centre of the model, with X to the right of the vehicle, Y to its front and Z up. The driver sits on the left.

Part Value Place
A3D_PART_FRONT_BUMPER 0 The middle of the front of the box, at the height of the front bumper
A3D_PART_REAR_BUMPER 1 The middle of the back of the box, at the height of the rear bumper
A3D_PART_ROOF 2 The middle of the top of the box
A3D_PART_DRIVER_SEAT 3 The front seat on the left
A3D_PART_PASSENGER_SEAT 4 The front seat on the right
A3D_PART_DRIVER_DOOR 5 The left side of the box, beside the front seat
A3D_PART_PASSENGER_DOOR 6 The right side of the box, beside the front seat
A3D_PART_REAR_LEFT_DOOR 7 The left side of the box, beside the rear seat
A3D_PART_REAR_RIGHT_DOOR 8 The right side of the box, beside the rear seat
A3D_PART_PETROL_CAP 9 The petrol cap
A3D_PART_FRONT_LEFT_WHEEL 10 The front wheel on the left
A3D_PART_FRONT_RIGHT_WHEEL 11 The front wheel on the right
A3D_PART_REAR_LEFT_WHEEL 12 The rear wheel on the left
A3D_PART_REAR_RIGHT_WHEEL 13 The rear wheel on the right
A3D_PART_MIDDLE_LEFT_WHEEL 14 The middle wheel on the left, on vehicles with six wheels
A3D_PART_MIDDLE_RIGHT_WHEEL 15 The middle wheel on the right, on vehicles with six wheels

A part the model lacks, such as the rear doors of a vehicle with no rear seats, makes the native return false.
