Validation

Record 19 is "BALGARIA", codes BGR/BG — an exact match against a reference photo of the real unit's own Address Entry Country screen. The full 35-country list decodes cleanly, including one country listed twice: Russia, once transliterated "ROSSIYA" and once in Cyrillic "РОССИЯ", both correctly RUS/RU.

Practical relevance

eeu.cty's own per-record "country tag" field (bytes [57:59], see eeu.cty) partitions all 939,351 city records into exactly 35 groups matching this table — used by the map viewer's Country → City → Street address-entry scoping.
