Alerts

This feature allows you to create alerts for a specific time, the opening of a GBG sector, or the end of an Antiques Dealer auction. The first screen shows all existing alerts and provides buttons for adding new ones.

Overview

• Alerts display area: Shows all existing alerts.
  • Persistent: Keeps the notification open until the user dismisses or opens it.
  • Opens in: Shows the remaining time before the alert is triggered.
  • Repeat: Shows how often the alert will recur, such as every 15 minutes.
  • Preview: Displays a preview of the notification.
  • Edit: Opens the alert settings.
  • Delete: Removes the selected alert.
• Create for all sectors: Creates alerts for all GBG sectors.
• Create Alert: Creates a custom alert.

Create an alarm

To create a custom alert, open the alert window, enter a title and description, and choose how long to wait before the alert is triggered.

The Presets drop-down menu lets you quickly create an alert for the Antiques Dealer or a specific GBG sector. After selecting an option, the title, date, and time fields are filled in automatically.

The Create Alert menu is organized as follows:

• Title: Enter a custom name for the alert. This name appears in the alerts overview.
• Description: Add an optional note or reminder that will be shown when the notification is triggered.
• Date & Time: Set the exact date and time for the alert. Click the calendar icon to select both.
• Time Shortcuts: Use preset buttons, such as +5m or +1h, to quickly change the alert time.
• Presets: Select a predefined alert for the Antiques Dealer or a GBG sector.
• Repeat: Choose whether and how often the alert should repeat.
• Persistence: Keep the notification visible until it is manually dismissed.
• Preview: Display a preview of the notification.
• Create: Save and activate the alert.
