Building Efficiency Rating

Yvi edited this page Aug 20, 2026 · 13 revisions

Here you can view all the buildings in your city, in your inventory, and even additional buildings you don't own (yet). They are ranked by a ranking system you can customise yourself for your ambitions and needs. You open this by clicking the Settings Button top right.

This button will free the box from inside the browser and you can position it anywhere on your screen.

You can export the buildings list you view here:

The Buildings List

You open the list by clicking the menue icon for the building efficiency rating buildings-icon. There is a menue on top that will let you customise the view to your liking:

  • Value/Tile: Toggles if you see the Boosts as a value by tile or total
  • Search Field: lets you search for buildings, the matching names will change the font color to white.
  • Only Highlights will show only your highlighted lines (highlight by clicking on a line, the name of the building will change the color to orange) and those found with search in the list.
  • GBs Bildschirmfoto 2026-08-05 um 08 06 27: Will Include GBs in the List.
  • Inventory Bildschirmfoto 2026-08-05 um 08 06 45: Tick this to include the buildings that are in the inventory only. When you tick this, you also get a field to set a Minimum Score for those items and to include the ascended/limited buildings Bildschirmfoto 2026-08-05 um 08 07 02 . The score for the buildings in the inventory will have the font color orange, and the Name written in italic. There is also a column with the inventory symbol on top, that will show a number, if you have more of it in the inventory. Hovering the number will show you how you can build it.
  • Allies Bildschirmfoto 2026-08-05 um 08 07 32: Will include the boosts of the ally sitting in the building in the values.
  • Size lets you enter a number and the list will only show buildings that need that number of tiles.

You can sort the list by any column by clicking on it.

When you hover with your mouse over a building you will see detailed information about it.

  • You can also add buildings to your list, you do not own, by selecting them in the list of all buildings, tht will open when you click the Add Building Button:
  • The Score Modifier lets you adjust a calculated score for a building:

Evaluation Method

The efficiency score is calculated by comparing each building's actual output against your expected daily value per tile.

Score = (Output ÷ Expected value) ÷ (Tiles + 1 where road is required*) × 100

(e.g., 20 FP ÷ 10 FP expected ÷ 2 tiles = 1 × 100 = Score: 100)

*) Buildings with only 1 tile will have 0.5 added for road requirements

Ask yourself two questions when chosing values:

  • Is this important to me? If no, do not evaluate it: Either uncheck it or put a 0 if you want to see it in the rating table for reference (e.g. population requirements)
  • What is a good enough per-tile output? You will see the per-tile value of the best buildings in your city when you hover the input to get a feeling of them. If you care a lot about Forge Points, a good enough value would be lower than the best buildings, because you'll want to collect many. You can always switch back to the rating table, activate the value/tile view, sort the table by the column you want to find a good value for and choose a number of a building as your baseline.

If you have more than one of the same building, only the highest era will be evaluated. For chain buildings the whole chain is treated as one single building. For sets it is assumed that all parts are fully connected.
