Commands radio
Reviewed against Mediabot 3.6dev-20261006_084503 (snapshot of 6 October 2026). This is the development-line reference; consult the tagged source for stable-release behaviour.
Examples use !; replace it with the configured trigger (m, #, etc.). See notation, transport and permissions. Each entry names its registered IRC surfaces; a handler accepting a private context does not itself make a name callable by PM. Plugin and dynamic-command policy may add restrictions.

On +Radio, remove and block a central catalogue track. Existing playback is not interrupted.
Access: Master+ on +Radio. IRC surfaces: channel.
!deltrack <id_mp3>
Required positive ID is central MP3.id_mp3, not the instance’s local ID. Archives/blocks that exact catalogue identity. Does not unlink the file, skip the current track or flush queued playback.
Show Icecast listener counts.
Access: public. IRC surfaces: channel.
!listeners
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Search or display MP3/radio related information.
Access: public. IRC surfaces: channel.
!mp3 <query>
On +Radio, skip the current track and announce the new queue/global-playlist track.
Access: Administrator+ on +Radio. IRC surfaces: channel.
!nextsong
Skips selected playback and announces the confirmed new title/queue or global-playlist origin through the radio service.
Request a track on a +Radio channel. Other uses remain Master-only.
Access: Public on +Radio; Master+ local/PM control. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!play <artist title or YouTube URL>
On +Radio, accepts artist/title text or one HTTPS YouTube video URL through the central API. Successful request queues a track without requesting a skip. Outside +Radio and from PM, the legacy local control is Master-only. Availability, duplicate prevention, queue limits and configured max duration apply.
On +Radio, alias for the shared radioqueue with the same public/NOTICE budget.
Access: Public on +Radio; Master+ local control. IRC surfaces: channel.
!queue
Public alias of shared radioqueue on +Radio. It is not a separately registered PM alias.
Show MP3 cache database/file consistency summary. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radiocache
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Dry-run or delete MP3 cache rows whose files are missing. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radiocacheprune [confirm]
No option is a dry-run. Literal confirm deletes cache DB rows whose files are missing; it is not a general MP3 file deletion.
Check local radio cache, yt-dlp, cookies, Liquidsoap, and Icecast configuration. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radiocheck
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Cancel the current non-blocking yt-dlp download. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radiodlcancel
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Show current non-blocking yt-dlp download status. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radiodlstatus
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Flush the Liquidsoap queue and skip. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radioflush
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Index a local MP3 file into the radio cache. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radioimport <absolute-mp3-path> [artist - title]
Absolute readable local MP3 path; optional artist/title label consumes remaining text. Indexes local cache, not arbitrary URL download.
Index all readable MP3 files from a local directory into the radio cache. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel.
!radioimportdir [directory]
Optional local directory overrides the configured MP3 import directory. Imports readable MP3 files; central remote requests do not expose this filesystem path.
List Icecast mounts.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radiomounts
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Push a local MP3 file into the Liquidsoap Mediabot queue. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radiopush <absolute-mp3-path>
Absolute readable local MP3 path is submitted to the local Liquidsoap queue.
On +Radio, show current and three waiting tracks, with a bounded public/NOTICE budget. Outside +Radio, local Master-only control.
Access: Public on +Radio; Master+ local/PM control. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radioqueue
On +Radio, reads current title and next three shared queue tracks plus remaining count. Public at most once a minute per channel, NOTICE otherwise. Outside +Radio/PM, legacy local queue control is Master-only; API failures do not fall back to remote telnet.
Skip the current Liquidsoap queue item. Master-only.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radioskip
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Show Icecast status.
Access: Master+. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!radiostatus
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Request a random catalogue track on a +Radio channel.
Access: Public on +Radio. IRC surfaces: channel.
!rplay <artist or title>
On +Radio, selects a random eligible central catalogue match (artist exact then partial, then title). It does not download a new search result.
Show the current Icecast song or stream title.
Access: public. IRC surfaces: channel + private message.
!song
No command parameters. Channel-scoped results refer to the invocation channel.
Search YouTube when configured.
Access: public. IRC surfaces: channel.
!yt <query...>
!yt search <query...>
Requires +YoutubeSearch and its provider configuration. search uses the alternate search branch; ordinary query uses the usual YouTube integration.
