OpenDereth v0.2.0 Preview 8
New selectable mod: Expanded Cast on Strike
Preview 8 adds a one-click Expanded Cast on Strike package to Server Mods, based on the behavior documented by titaniumweiner/ACEUniqueWeenies.
The mod preserves stock ACE handling for direct-object, active-weapon, and monster-projectile procs. It changes the equipped-item pass from Aetheria-only to the documented filter:
i.HasProc && i.CloakWeaveProc != 1 && i.ProcSpellSelfTargeted == selfTargetThis enables cast-on-strike behavior for equipped jewelry, armor, weapons, and other non-Aetheria custom items. It intentionally matches the requested filter exactly; an active proc weapon can therefore be processed again when it is also present in EquippedObjects.
The DLL changes server combat behavior only. It does not bundle or automatically import the ACEUniqueWeenies SQL. Use Custom Weenies for compatible per-weenie SQL files. Turning the mod off leaves imported items intact but stops their non-Aetheria equipped procs after the server restarts.
The package is labeled Preview because its proc frequency and interactions with every custom item have not been thoroughly tested in game.

ACE Single Player v0.2.0 Preview 7
What is new
- Added a separate Custom Weenies section beside Server Mods.
- Import individual AceForge
.sqlfiles or scan an AceForge output folder recursively. - Preview every accepted WCID, name, weenie type, and source file before import.
- Installed and ready-to-install server mods now sort above unavailable ports.
- Added an in-launcher link to the reviewed AceForge v0.3.36 release and a complete Custom Weenies guide.
Import safety
- Automatic imports are limited to the launcher's isolated Private Database mode.
- SQL is restricted to one
weenieplus matchingweenie_properties_*rows and AceForge's emote-link pattern. - Existing WCIDs are listed and require a second confirmation before replacement.
- A complete
ace_worldbackup is created before any accepted SQL is applied. - All selected weenies are applied in one transaction, so a failed file rolls back the import.
- Quest, recipe, event, treasure, landscape, and client-DAT scripts are reported as unsupported rather than executed.
Custom weenies become persistent world data and do not have a one-click uninstaller. Test new content on a disposable save and keep the automatic backup.
Verification
- 54 automated tests passed on .NET 10.
- Complete self-contained Windows x64 package built successfully.
- Package safety checks found no proprietary client/DAT files, runtime secrets, debug symbols, or personal paths.
- Installed-launcher startup and Custom Weenies window smoke tests passed.

OpenDereth v0.2.0 Preview 10
OpenDereth Preview 10 includes all fixes merged after Preview 9.
Highlights:
- Bundles the collision-safe ACEUniqueWeenies collection and displays all 76 included SQL files in Custom Weenies by default.
- Gives the bundled Lugians and shopkeeper unique weenie IDs so they do not replace the original game entries.
- Documents that the Expanded Cast on Strike mod is required for the bundled custom items to work properly.
- Corrects Custom Weenies type labels by using ACE's canonical weenie-type definitions. Armor, clothing, containers, scrolls, food, weapons, creatures, vendors, portals, and other entries now display accurately.
- Keeps custom weenie SQL and installed database content unchanged; the type correction is a launcher display fix.
The package remains self-contained and includes ACE.Server, portable MariaDB 12.3.2, ACE World v0.9.294, the optional Decal bridge, curated server mods, CustomClothingBase 1.11, and Custom Weenie importing.
Install:

ACE Single Player v0.2.0 Preview 6
CustomClothingBase
OptimShi's CustomClothingBase v1.11 is now listed in the Mods window and can be installed with one click.
It loads custom server-side ClothingTable JSON definitions, allowing clothing colors and appearance combinations without requiring client DAT updates. After installation, place custom *.json files directly in the mod's json folder. The package also documents @clothingbase-export and @clear-clothing-cache.
Preview warning
This remains a Preview mod. The official v1.11 package and the final ACE Single Player wrapper both became Active in the exact bundled ACE loader, and the packaged DLL is byte-for-byte identical to OptimShi's official DLL. Custom JSON behavior, every clothing combination, cache reloads, and saved-world compatibility have not been thoroughly tested in game.
Back up %LOCALAPPDATA%\ACESinglePlayer before using custom IDs. Do not disable or remove the mod while saved items or world content refer to those IDs.
The upstream repository currently has no LICENSE file. The official DLLs are included unchanged based on OptimShi's permission reported by the ACE Single Player project maintainer. Attribution and original source/release links are preserved in the package and notices.
Validation
- 44 regular tests passed
- official v1.11 asset SHA-256 verified
- official and final wrapped packages passed current-ACE load tests
- launcher inspect and atomic installation test passed
- packaged DLL hash exactly matched the official DLL
- full portable build, privacy/proprietary-file scan, and launcher smoke start passed

ACE Single Player v0.2.0 Preview 5
What is new
- SocietyTailoring can now be installed from the Mods library.
- HelloCommand is included as a small working mod-development example.
- Every ported mod has links to both Aquafir's original source and the ACE Single Player ported code.
- Import a Mod ZIP... is now a prominent button at the top of the Mods window.
- How to Make a Mod opens a complete offline guide with a project skeleton, package format, build helper, import steps, and test checklist.
Preview warning
HelloCommand and SocietyTailoring are labeled Preview. They compile against the bundled ACE version and passed automated load, registration/Harmony-signature, package, checksum, launcher, and removal checks, but they have not been thoroughly tested in game. Back up %LOCALAPPDATA%\ACESinglePlayer before using SocietyTailoring on a valued world. Tailoring already completed is not undone when the mod is disabled.
CriticalOverride remains the curated package. Other Aquafir samples stay listed as unavailable until they are individually ported and tested; the launcher does not treat old source folders as compatible mods.
Validation
- 43 automated tests passed
- full self-contained portable build passed
- all three mod package hashes and required files verified
- launcher smoke start passed
- privacy and proprietary-file packaging scan passed

This ZIP still does not include Asheron's Call client or DAT files. Point the launcher at a legal existing game installation on first use. Private saves remain under %LOCALAPPDATA%\ACESinglePlayer when upgrading the launcher folder.
ACE Single Player v0.2.0 Preview 4
Guarded mod package import
This release adds Import Mod Package... to the Mods window and restores a readable Why unavailable? action for catalog entries that have not yet been ported.
Import behavior
- accepts ACE Single Player ZIP packages with ace-mod.json and files under mod/
- requires and verifies a matching .zip.sha256 checksum
- validates archive paths, size, identity, Meta.json, entry DLL, and ACE's folder/assembly naming rule
- stages installation atomically before moving it into Mods
- warns when a package is uncurated or corresponds to a catalog entry that still needs porting
Importing an original .NET 8 source folder does not port it. The source must first be rebuilt and tested for the current ACE Single Player release.
Download ACE-SinglePlayer-v0.2.0-preview.4.zip and extract the complete archive to a writable folder such as C:\Games\ACE-SinglePlayer. Existing settings, characters, database files, and private server DATs are retained under %LOCALAPPDATA%\ACESinglePlayer.
Validation
- all 40 launcher tests passed
- full package rebuilt with zero warnings
- package safety scan passed

- unavailable actions are hidden instead of displaying dim unreadable labels
- the Use Decal label beside Play remains pale gold even while its checkbox is disabled

- full package rebuilt with zero warnings
- package safety scan passed
