Adding an asset is the first step in building awareness.

Steps

1. Open Asset Intelligence

2. Select "Add Asset"

3. Enter details:

   • Name
   • Area (room)
   • Labels

4. Save

What Happens

• A new device is created in Home Assistant
• It is assigned:
  • Name
  • Area
  • Labels

Tips

• Use descriptive names
• Apply consistent labels
• Assign the correct room from the start

Example

Name: "Rare Painting"
Area: Den
Labels: artwork, sensitive
