Review of Guideline #12
Item | Outcome |
---|---|
Guideline complies with the Guideline-Template | Yes |
Name of guideline responsible with affiliation is clearly stated | Yes |
It seems to me that system architects / hardware designers should also be included as the target audience.
No --> TBD!
I would add such keywords as "Hardware modification" / "Hardware customization"
The guideline sounds reasonable for me.
Does the guideline explicitly refer to the handbook? To which part of the deliverable is it relevant (e.g., chapter of D1.2/D1.3)?
No.
Yes.
-
Guideline advice: is ok.
-
Insights that led to the guideline: is ok.
-
Recommended implementation method of the guideline along with a solid motivation for the recommendation: is ok
-
Instantiation of the recommended implementation method in the reference platform: is good. I would suggest to make a glossary or an abbreviation list in the final document in order to make it easier for the reader.
-
Evaluation of the guideline in reference applications: Still TBD. Maybe a coarse estimation of the efforts in term of approximate cost reduction (in percent)?
-
References: The idea of the guideline is straightforward and hence clear without references. However, one could add references to the section "Instantiation of the recommended implementation method in trhe reference platform".
- 30/07/2018: Made some formatting changes in the guidelines to cope with template.
- 27/08/2018: guideline reviewed.
