Troubleshooting
Most problems announce themselves on the monitor, the Info card or a note over your head. Here is what each one means.

The batteries reached their floor. | Wait for sun. Switch appliances off to bring N down. More batteries or panels mean fewer dark nights. |
BREAKER TRIP |
It tripped on a version before 2.10.0. | Off-Grid › Reset the breaker, once. It won't trip again. |
| Not wired to anything. Makes nothing. | No cable joins it to the system. | Run cable from here, then Connect on the controller or on a part already wired in. |
| Sky: under a roof | The array can't see the sky. | Move it outdoors. |
| Too far for one run of cable. | Longer than 12 tiles. | Chain through another array or bank, or move the parts closer. |
| Switch it off first | A running controller can't be moved. | Off-Grid › Switch off, then pick it up or rotate it. |
| Placed by somebody else | The owner lock on a server. | Ask the owner, their safehouse or an admin (see Multiplayer). |

LG Extended Electricity's "Mod sets generator range" option cuts the game's generator range to 1 tile. | A server admin turns that option and "Mod sets generator vertical range" off with the server stopped. |

| The panels make little | Clouds, winter, dust, snow, damage or a poor facing. | Read the array's Info card. Clean, sweep, repair, and face it south. |
| An appliance gets no power | The controller is off or starting up, or the appliance is more than 20 tiles away. | Switch it on and check System monitor › LOADS. |
| No Off-Grid menu | You are in a safehouse you don't belong to. | Ask one of its members. |
| No equalise option | It only shows when a crate or Battery Bank has lost health. | Nothing. Sealed cabinets never need it. |

Another mod is blocking Off-Grid's tiles or items. | Report it with that line and your mod list. |
- With Error Magnifier: open it, go to the Mods tab, pick Off-Grid and press Copy. That copies the error and Off-Grid's own report on your rig.

Without it: send
%UserProfile%\Zomboid\console.txtright after it happens, before you restart. On a server, send the server's console log too. - Say whether it was singleplayer or a server, and list your other mods.
