Invite scopes:
botandapplications.commands. Use the invite link from the README or the Servers page (permissions2415995984). Discord's Add App button uses the Developer Portal's Installation → Default Install Settings; unless Guild Install there includes thebotscope, it adds only the slash commands and no bot member. -
In the four channels: View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History, Add Reactions, Use Application Commands. If a channel or its category is private, add Nyerk's role to it: without View Channel, Discord answers
403 Missing Access (50001)and #logs (or the container log) shows it. - Manage Roles, with Nyerk's role above every role it hands out (ping, class, Tank/Support/DPS). Nyerk only creates roles when you click Create role (or Create missing roles) for a class or dungeon on the Party finder page. Class roles it makes aren't mentionable; dungeon roles are.
- Manage Messages in the party finder channel, to delete members' chat once it is old enough, and in the roles channel, so Remove all my ping roles can clear members' reactions. Nyerk deletes its own messages without it.
- Manage Channels, only for Settings → Create channel. Nyerk then makes the channel in a "Nyerk" category with the permissions below set for you. Servers invited before this was in the invite link need to add it to Nyerk's role by hand, or make the channels themselves.
- Role pings: make each ping role mentionable, or give Nyerk Mention All Roles. Nyerk never pings @everyone.
- Intents: none of the privileged ones; Nyerk uses guilds and guild reactions only.
| Channel | Name | Members |
|---|---|---|
| Timer | timers |
read-only; buttons and commands still work |
| Party finder | party-finder |
can chat |
| Roles | roles |
read-only; can use Nyerk's reactions, can't add new ones |
| Logs | nyerk-logs |
hidden; the server's admin roles and Administrator can see it |
With several games, the timer and party channels are named after the game (aion-2-timers). Nyerk's own role gets View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History, Manage Messages, Add Reactions and Embed Links in each. Rename or move them freely; Nyerk keeps their IDs.
