Flowmap Painter Guide

To begin, click "Open Flowmap Painter Tool" in the Flowmap UV's section on your material, or, open it manually. Located in AtlasUtils/LitMAS Water/Flowmap Painter. Then, select your LitMAS Water Volume. Change Preview Mode to "Direct Preview" if you want to see the raw flowmap being painted. Otherwise leave it on "LitMAS Water". Flowmap Texture Size should be left at 512. Click Start Painting.

ToolFlowmapStartPainting

Hover your mouse over the water surface, the yellow ring gizmo is where you are painting the flow. Hold left mouse button, and drag in the direction you want the water to flow in. The real time preview direction does not reflect the final flow, after pressing Save To Texture button and saving the texture, the flow will be corrected to flow in the proper direction you were dragging your mouse in.
