Media and Images
All images and files live in the Media library (sidebar › Plugins › Media), stored on Cloudflare R2.
Open Media and upload files, or drag them in. Give images a clear name before uploading; it helps you find them later.
- In a text: put the cursor where the image should go, click the Image button in the editor toolbar, pick the image, and type a short description.
- As featured image: in a post, Featured image › Select Media, then fill Featured image description.
- As share image: in the SEO card, Social › Social image. Without one, the featured image is used, then the site default.
Describe what the image shows, in a few words. Google and screen readers use it. Double-click an image in the editor to change its description. The SEO card warns about images without one.
Upload photos straight from your phone or camera: BizzCMS scales big JPEG, PNG and WebP images down (2,000 pixels wide by default) and saves them as WebP before they are uploaded. A 4000 × 3000 photo of almost 1 MB arrives as about 80 KB. GIF and SVG files are uploaded as they are.
Administrators can switch this off or change the maximum width and quality under Settings › Images.
Every image on your public pages gets its size, so the page doesn't jump while loading; images further down load only when needed, and the top image of a post loads first.
