feature key view_v0.1

Overview

The feature-key-view software is used to overimpose the generated keypoints on the image on which keypoints have been generated. It provides a simple way of analyzing algorithms results like SIFT and SURF.

Grayscale images are expected by the software. If color images are given as input, the OpenCV image reader convert it automatically into grayscale images.

Usage

The feature-key-view software expects the following arguments and parameters :

--input -i

Path of the input image.

--output -o

Path of the output output image.

--keyfile -k

Path of the keypoints file.

Demonstration

Demonstration of the feature-key-view results can be found on feature-key-SIFT and feature-key-SURF pages.

Compilation

The software binary can be build using its specific makefile by simply typing in its base directory :

$ make clean && make

The binary is placed in the local bin directory and is not copied in the feature-suite main bin directory. To generate the documentation, use the command :

$ make documentation

When documentation is generated, the previous one is preliminary removed.
